Question about going on a solo spiritual retreat?
I want to go on a solo retreat this summer for a month or more. I feel like all my options arent working though. I can't find anyone who will let me retreat/camp on their land (possibly for insurance or other reasons unknown), I don't have the money to travel far or go to a fancy "retreat resort", state parks won't let you stay longer than 15 days in one spot and the rate for a campground I was given was 30 bucks a night, not to mention the lack of privacy. Only thing I have is a relative who has some woods that are infested with mosquitos, not sure how peaceful that would be. And the state land/public use land where I am is no better then the mosquito infested woods. Anyone with ideas from past expeirences, something I am missing?, I need something quick, summer is soon approaching.
i live by the o0ocean and theres alot of retreat resorts(inexpensive)looking directly over the o0ocean...look them up..you may find one...as for myself..i'm really not to keen on allowing unknown ppl on my property...but good-luck
