Progressive Insurance - What is your experience w/ this company - Auto & Home?
We are thinking of switching to Progressive (to save big bucks), and I am wondering how this company behaves when you have an at-fault accident, or a claim? Do they dump you? Do they bump your rates a lot?
I've heard they are great to deal with, but what about the aftermath?
I really believe this all depends on where you are. I wrote for Progressive in SD and never had a problem or complaint from an insured. I now write in NC and all I have is complaints about there service and handeling of claims. I have body shops in my area that refuse to do any claim work with them. Thats a HUGE red flag.
