My auto insurance payment is due by midnight tonight. I can't pay until tomorrow.?
My auto insurance is due by tonight at midnight. They do not have a payonline option (Harleysville Insurance) and my agent's office closes at 4 pm, before I get off of work. So, should I mail the payment in today to the main office so it is postmarked for today or should I just wait until my agent opens back up on monday?
Does this mean I won't be covered over the weekend?
Just because its due doesn't necessarily mean its going to cancel?
Check with your agent if theres a grace period. Most companies give you time.
I would go by my agents office today even if he is closed and slide a check under the door. They will have it when they open up on Monday. Likely as not even if it is canceled they will reinstate it with that payment. That way the payment is there.
